Job summary

Premium Waters, Riverside facility, is seeking a Production Operator to tend to bottling line equipment (fillers, labelers, case packers, palletizers) and ensure product quality. You will load materials, monitor processes, perform changeovers, and document quality checks via handheld devices.

You will follow GMPs, SQF and FDA standards, participate in sanitation schedules, and work in a cooperative team environment on a 12-hour shift with mandatory overtime.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Packaging or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience with beverage, food, or liquid consumer products manufacturer is a plus.
• Prior knowledge of GMPs, sanitation standards and FDA requirements is helpful.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time – 8- or 12-hour shifts.
• Basic math skills are needed.
• Must be able to work flexible hours.
• Good organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine equipment operation, loads raw materials, monitors processes for quality assurance, and resolves minor mechanical issues.
• Performs hands-on equipment changeovers and troubleshooting that require interaction with HMIs and basic hand tools.
• Consistently apply safe work practices and adhere to all safety guidelines.
• Documents all Quality Checks in Premium Water’s Food Safety and Quality Assurance software using a handheld tablet or computer.
• Executes a daily and weekly sanitation schedule for their assigned machine each shift/week.
• Must follow all established GMPs, sanitation standards, and SQF & FDA requirements.
• Ensures all key steps are followed in quality and food safety processes.
