Job summary

Premium Waters, Inc. in Greeneville, TN, is seeking a Production Operator to help keep our water bottling lines running safely and efficiently. You will operate equipment, monitor quality, and work with teammates to meet production goals.

This non-exempt, hourly role requires a high school diploma or GED, basic math, and the ability to stand for long shifts. Prior manufacturing experience is preferred; GMPs, sanitation knowledge, and good communication are helpful.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Some manufacturing experience with a beverage, food or liquid consumer products manufacturer is preferred.
• Prior knowledge of GMP’s, sanitation standards and FDA requirements is helpful.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time – 12 hour shifts.
• Basic math skills are needed.
• Must be able to work flexible hours.
• Good organizational skills.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Good communication skills – oral and written.
• Performs related work as required.
• In the absence of this employee, the direct manager or appointee will cover responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Operate bottling line equipment including fillers, labelers, packaging, cappers and palletizers.
• Ensure safe and efficient operation while maintaining quality.
• Keep line clean and maintain a clean work area; monitor flow of finished goods.
• Expedite repairs with maintenance as necessary.
• Keep daily records of downtime and machine operations.
• Follow all established GMPs and sanitation procedures.
