Job description

The Production Operator - Batcher is responsible for the pre-batch of paint blends and the staging of products for blended orders. This role will support the facility Blenders in spray-outs, drawdowns, and filling customer orders.

• Location: 1515 E. Hadley Street, Suite 110, Phoenix, AZ 85034
• Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm
• Compensation: $16.00 - $20.00

Job duties include contact with other employees, operating heavy machinery, and access to proprietary information, raw materials, finished merchandise, and other items of value. Such access may be supervised or unsupervised. The company conducts criminal history reviews to protect its operations, reputation, staff, employees, and vendors.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship now or in the future
• Must be able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 100 lbs. on occasion

Preferred Qualifications

• At least one (1) year of experience mixing or blending raw materials and making a product in an industrial batch process
• At least one (1) year of experience using material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, etc.)
• At least one (1) year of experience monitoring gauges, dials, or machinery indicators
• At least one (1) year of experience monitoring the quality of raw materials or finished goods
• At least one (1) year of experience operating machinery in a manufacturing or distribution environment
• Prior experience operating tinting or color matching equipment is a plus
