Job summary

Quanex is seeking a Production Operator on the 3rd Shift in Cannon Falls, Minnesota. You will operate extrusion lines, perform changeovers, pack parts, and conduct quality checks to meet production standards.

The role offers $21 per hour plus a $3 shift differential, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 10:30pm to 7:00am. Quanex supports growth through training, tuition assistance, PTO, holidays, and a stock purchase plan.

• Performs changeovers, packs components, and performs quality checks to meet production standards and quality requirements on extrusion lines.
• Follows all safety procedures, utilizes safety devices and identifies any existing or potential safety issues.
• Follows standard work procedures for packaging, quality inspection, and machine operation.
• Maintains an organized and clean work area.
• Assists other departments as needed under direction from Team Leader.

Our Production Operators are responsible for performing changeovers, packing parts and performing quality checks, to meet production standards and quality requirements on extrusion lines.

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday: 10:30pm to 7:00am

Hourly Rate: Starts at $21/hr+ $3.00 shift differential.
