Job summary

Land O'Lakes, Inc. is seeking a frontline production teammate in Mason City, IA, to operate machinery, package the final product, and contribute to the Nutra Blend manufacturing team.

You will follow safety protocols, meet deadlines, and assist with daily production tasks to create high-quality inputs for customers. The role requires basic math and computer skills, reading and following instructions in English, and a willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• 1 year or more of work experience in any industry.
• Able to read, write, comprehend, follow verbal and written instructions in English.
• Willingness to learn new skills, problem-solve and troubleshoot.

Job description

Pay: $25.55 per hour plus Shift Differential: $1.00 per hour (if applicable)

Shift & Working Hours: 3rd Shift; 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM

Weekends/Overtime/Holidays as needed.

In this role, you will be a key member of our Land O'Lakes, Inc. manufacturing team, performing front-line production processes that add value and quality to the inputs and creation of final high-quality products. You will gain skills and experience of taking raw materials to produce our final products for customers. This will include operating machinery and equipment, packaging the final product. This role is part of our Nutra Blend business who is an industry leader in manufacturing and distributing quality vitamins, trace minerals, micro-ingredients, and antibiotic premixes for the feed industry.

Preferred Experience

• 1+ year of manufacturing work experience


• Machine operation and/or forklift experience

Physical Requirements

• Able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds


• Frequent movement including walking, standing, bending/stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, climbing and other active movements


• Performing duties while wearing personal protective equipment


• Working in temperature zones that include cold and/or hot environments for extended periods and may include areas where dust and chemicals are present
