Job summary

Mauser Packaging Solutions in Memphis, TN is seeking a production associate to operate manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently, meeting production standards on assigned tasks and maintaining a clean, organized workspace.

You will be responsible for safety and quality throughout the production process, performing manual and visual inspections, assisting with changeovers, and cross-training across presses, palletizers, seamers and slitters as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Basic Math skills such as addition, subtraction and taking measurements.
• Willingness to work evening or night shift and weekends as needed.

• Responsible for safety and quality throughout the production process, including following all safety procedures and performing manual and visual quality inspection of products as assigned
• Responsible for cleaning equipment and area before, during, and after shift
• May be responsible for sorting product as needed to ensure quality shipments
• Assist in changeovers when needed
• Is responsible for cross-training across multiple operations such as presses, palletizers, seamers and/or slitters
• Responsible for working directly with team members to meet all safety, quality and productivity goals
• Performs other duties as required by Supervisor or Manager
