Job summary

Mauser Packaging Solutions is seeking a production team member to operate manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently while meeting production standards. You will maintain clean work areas and participate in safety and quality inspections across the shift.

The role requires English literacy, basic math, and willingness to work evenings, nights, and weekends based on business needs. Cross-training across presses, palletizers, seamers and slitters is included to support production goals.

Qualifications

• Must have the willingness and ability to effectively communicate with peers, supervisors and other levels of the organization to create a positive, team-oriented environment
• Ability to read and write in English
• Basic Math skills such as addition, subtraction and taking measurements
• Must be willing to work evening or night shift and weekends as needed based on business need

• Maintain good housekeeping and clean work areas in assigned space
• Responsible for safety and quality throughout the production process, including following all safety procedures and performing manual and visual quality inspection of products as assigned
• Responsible for cleaning equipment and area before, during, and after shift
• May be responsible for sorting product as needed to ensure quality shipments
• Assist in changeovers when needed
• Is responsible for cross-training across multiple operations such as presses, palletizers, seamers and/or slitters
• Responsible for working directly with team members to meet all safety, quality and productivity goals
• Performs other duties as required by Supervisor or Manager
