Job summary

Fortune Brands Innovations, Inc. seeks an extrusion operator to support the production lines. You will monitor line performance, keep equipment clean, and ensure product meets color and length requirements according to the day’s schedule.

Responsibilities include maintaining water levels in cooling tanks, following safety practices, and assisting teammates as needed. Overtime, holiday, and weekend work may be required to meet production targets.

Qualifications

• Basic math, reading, and writing skills.
• Ability to recognize and solution recurring problems.
• Previous machinery operator experience in a continuous production environment.
• Ability to read, interpret and complete production schedules and reporting forms.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to work 12 hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Maintain administrative forms for extrusion process.
• Keep vacuum, stuffer, and vents clean.
• Maintain distilled water levels and additives in cooling tanks.
• Operate lines at prescribed rates, temps, and percentages.
• Ensure boards meet color and length schedules.
• Notify supervisor of any performance or quality issues.
• Monitor line output hourly for quality checks.
• Maintain safe working habits around equipment.
• Demonstrate teamwork and assist coworkers as needed.
• Overtime, holidays, and weekend work as scheduled.
