Machine Operator/Back-Up Forklift Driver

Job Summary

We are seeking an individual to join our small team as a Production Operator producing acoustic solutions for Automotive Mufflers. The ideal candidate will be responsible for filling bags with fiberglass, ensuring the efficient production of high-quality products. Additionally, the applicant should have prior forklift operation experience loading and unloading trucks. The applicant will be a Production Operator but will back-up the forklift operator in the event of vacations and absenteeism. Looking for a strong work ethic and someone that can work in a fast-paced environment using both hands. We currently work four (4) 10 hour shifts, Monday through Thursday, but occasional overtime is required when needed.

Responsibilities

• Production consisting of filling bags with fiberglass.


• Previous Fork truck Operator is required.


• Must be able to follow procedures relating to Safety, Quality and meet Production standards.


• PPE is required - safety toe shoes or boots - while safety glasses and ear plugs will be provided.


• Maintain a safe, neat, and clean workstation/work area including machine.


• Must be able to stand in one area for long periods of time.


• Must fill out and maintain paperwork requiring basic math.

Requirements
