Precision Tube in Minnesota is seeking Production Operators for night shift (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM) to run saws, choppers, straighteners, and pointers, inspect parts, and support safe, efficient production

You will read routers and work instructions, document production activities, and help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in a manufacturing and warehouse setting. This role emphasizes reliability, safety, and quality in daily tasks and adherence to procedures.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Able to stand, bend, reach, push and pull during shift.
• Experience with measuring tools or inspection instruments preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate production equipment (saws, choppers, straighteners, pointers) and related machinery.
• Read and follow routers, sales orders, and work instructions.
• Perform inspections using measuring equipment (tape measures, micrometers, calipers, gauges).
• Complete production, quality, and inspection documentation.
• Load, unload, move and transport materials within the work area.
• Perform basic equipment maintenance and maintain tooling and equipment in good order.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow safety procedures and support production and quality objectives.

Production Operator

Hours - 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Position Summary

We are seeking motivated, reliable and safety-focused individuals to join our Production Department. Opportunities may include Saw Operators, Chopper Operators, Straightener Operators, and Pointer Operators. These positions play a key role in producing high-quality precision tubing by operating equipment, performing inspections, and supporting safe and efficient production operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Set up and operate production equipment, including saws, choppers, straighteners, pointers, and related machinery.
• Read and follow routers, sales orders, and work instructions.
• Perform inspections using measuring equipment such as tape measures, micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
• Complete production, quality, and inspection documentation.
• Load, unload, move, and transport materials within the work area.
• Perform basic equipment maintenance and maintain tooling and equipment in an orderly condition.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all safety procedures and support production and quality objectives.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to stand, bend, reach, push, and pull throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50-60 pounds
• Manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
• Experience using measuring instruments and inspection tools preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
• Regular lifting and carrying of materials weighing up to 60 pounds.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment around moving equipment and production machinery.

Work Environment

• Manufacturing and warehouse setting.
• Exposure to lumber, tools, machinery, and typical production-related noise levels.
• Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as appropriate.
