Job summary

AURORATE LLC in Houston, TX is seeking dependable Production Line Operators to join our high-performance manufacturing team. You will operate, monitor, and support key equipment across workstations to deliver high-quality pipe and tubing products on time and to spec.

You’ll work in a safety-focused environment with opportunities for cross-training, advancement from Beginner to Expert, and long-term career growth through on-the-job training and teamwork.

Qualifications

  • Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1–3 years welding experience required.
  • Previous manufacturing/industrial production experience preferred.
  • Ability to follow SOPs, safety instructions and quality guidelines.
  • Must be physically capable of standing long shifts and lifting materials.

Responsibilities

  • Operate production equipment and material handling systems per SOPs.
  • Read blueprints and ensure cycle times, flow, and quality between stations.
  • Identify defects and correct welds, hole positions, or alignment issues.
  • Coordinate with upstream/downstream stations to manage flow and bundle staging.
  • Perform basic mechanical troubleshooting and changeovers.
  • Ensure proper production tracking, heat-number labeling, and counts.
  • Maintain a safe, clean 5S work area per OSHA standards.
  • Assist with cleaning and preventive maintenance to reduce downtime.
  • Cross-train to become proficient in multiple stations and potentially a floater/line lead.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and teammates to keep production aligned.
  • Follow safety procedures and wear assigned PPE.
  • Assist in loading, staging, and transporting materials (forklift/crane if certified).

We are seeking dependable and detail-oriented Production Line Operators to join our high-performance manufacturing team. As a core contributor to our production process, you will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and supporting key equipment across various workstations assuring high-quality pipe and tubing products that are delivered on time and to spec.


You’ll work as part of a team that values safety, precision, and teamwork. With clear advancement pathways from Beginner to Expert level, we offer opportunities for training, cross-station development, and long-term career growth.


Training on Dayshift 5:45am-6apm 2nd Shift Hours 5:54pm-6am


Key Responsibilities


  • Operate production equipment and material handling systems according to SOPs. Use welding equipment to fuse materials together via STIK and MIG.

  • Read blueprints and technical drawings to understand project specifications. Monitor and maintain cycle times, flow rate, and material quality from one workstation to the next.

  • Identify defects related to welds, hole positioning, Swage fitment, or pipe straightness—and upscale or correct as needed.

  • Coordinate with upstream and downstream stations to manage flow, coil transitions, and bundle staging.

  • Perform basic mechanical troubleshooting and changeovers for production line equipment (based on level).

  • Ensure proper completion of production tracking, heat number labeling, bundle counts, and board updates.

  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area according to 5S principles and OSHA standards.

  • Support equipment cleaning and preventative maintenance tasks to reduce downtime and improve longevity.

  • Participate in cross-training to become proficient in multiple stations and qualify as a floater or line lead.

  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, teammates, and other departments to keep production aligned.

  • Follow safety procedures rigorously and wear always assigned PPE.

  • Assist in loading, staging, and transporting materials when necessary (including forklift or crane operation if certified).

  • Demonstrate reliability through attendance, on-time performance, and accountability for daily duties.


Qualifications


  • High school diploma or equivalent required. 1-3 years welding experience is required

  • Previous experience in manufacturing, fabrication, or industrial production preferred.

  • Ability to follow standard operating procedures, safety instructions, and quality control guidelines.

  • Physically capable of standing for long shifts, lifting materials, and working in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to recognize and respond to production defects.

  • Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or flexible hours as needed.

  • Must pass a drug screening as a condition of employment.


Preferred Skills (Not Required)


  • Forklift or overhead crane experience

  • Basic mechanical or electrical troubleshooting knowledge

  • Experience using calipers, measuring tapes, and other quality control tools

  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing, 5S, or continuous improvement principles
