Job summary

AURORATE LLC is seeking dependable Production Line Operators to join our high-performance manufacturing team in Houston. You will operate, monitor, and support equipment across workstations to deliver high-quality pipe and tubing products on time and to spec.

We offer training, cross-station development, and clear advancement paths from Beginner to Expert level, with day and second shift options. Safety, accuracy, and teamwork drive our daily operations.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1–3 years welding experience required.
  • Experience in manufacturing, fabrication or industrial production preferred.
  • Able to follow SOPs, safety instructions and quality guidelines.
  • Able to stand long shifts, lift materials, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must pass a drug screening.

Responsibilities

  • Operate production equipment and material handling per SOPs; weld with STIK and MIG.
  • Read blueprints and drawings to meet project specs and monitor quality.
  • Identify defects in welds and coordinate with stations to manage flow.
  • Perform basic mechanical troubleshooting and changeovers.
  • Maintain 5S workspace and OSHA standards.
  • Assist in loading, staging, and transporting materials; forklift if certified.
  • Support cross-training to become floater or line lead.
  • Ensure production tracking and proper labeling.
  • Communicate with supervisors and teammates to stay aligned.

We are seeking dependable and detail-oriented Production Line Operators to join our high-performance manufacturing team. As a core contributor to our production process, you will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and supporting key equipment across various workstations assuring high-quality pipe and tubing products that are delivered on time and to spec.

Training on Dayshift 5:45am-6apm

2nd Shift Hours 5:54pm-6am

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate production equipment and material handling systems according to SOPs. Use welding equipment to fuse materials together via STIK and MIG.
  • Read blueprints and technical drawings to understand project specifications. Monitor and maintain cycle times, flow rate, and material quality from one workstation to the next.
  • Identify defects related to welds, hole positioning, Swage fitment, or pipe straightness—and elevate or correct as needed.
  • Coordinate with upstream and downstream stations to manage flow, coil transitions, and bundle staging.
  • Perform basic mechanical troubleshooting and changeovers for production line equipment (based on level).
  • Ensure proper completion of production tracking, heat number labeling, bundle counts, and board updates.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area according to 5S principles and OSHA standards.
  • Support equipment cleaning and preventative maintenance tasks to reduce downtime and improve longevity.
  • Participate in cross-training to become proficient in multiple stations and qualify as a floater or line lead.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, teammates, and other departments to keep production aligned.
  • Follow safety procedures rigorously and wear always assigned PPE.
  • Assist in loading, staging, and transporting materials when necessary (including forklift or crane operation if certified).
  • Demonstrate reliability through attendance, on-time performance, and accountability for daily duties.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-3 years welding experience is required
  • Previous experience in manufacturing, fabrication, or industrial production preferred.
  • Ability to follow standard operating procedures, safety instructions, and quality control guidelines.
  • Physically capable of standing for long shifts, lifting materials, and working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to recognize and respond to production defects.
  • Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or flexible hours as needed.
  • Must pass a drug screening as a condition of employment.
Preferred Skills (Not Required)
  • Forklift or overhead crane experience
  • Basic mechanical or electrical troubleshooting knowledge
  • Experience using calipers, measuring tapes, and other quality control tools
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing, 5S, or continuous improvement principles
