Production Operator, Strongsville OH

Starting pay: $22.03 per hour, with an additional $.65 for 2nd shift and $0.78 for 3rd shift differential.

Sign-on bonus: $1000

We are hiring for the following shifts:

• Evening (2nd) shift: Mon-Fri, 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm
• Night (3rd) shift: Sun-Thursday, 11:00 pm - 7:30 am

As a Production Operator, you will play a vital role in our operations, ensuring the delivery of quality products to our customers, impacting lives positively.

Primary Responsibilities

1. Blending (premixing) batches, operating extruders, filling and sampling products, cleaning, measuring, and manufacturing raw materials for industrial coatings.
2. Assembling and disassembling production equipment for cleaning, following Lock Out/Tag Out procedures.
3. Preassembly tasks include weighing materials for production batches according to instructions.
4. Preparing materials and products for packaging and shipment.
5. Working in a safety-conscious production environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 55 pounds regularly.
• Experience in powder coating preferred; candidates with 3-5 years in manufacturing or light industrial work will be considered.
• Forklift/tow motor experience preferred or ability to obtain certification.
• Willingness to learn to operate large powder manufacturing equipment.
• Mechanical aptitude and experience with manufacturing machinery.
• Ability to work independently and attentively in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to wear PPE such as gloves, steel-toed boots, safety goggles, helmet, and respirator.
• Flexibility to work any shift and overtime as needed.
