Job description

Prod. Manufacturing Operator 3 (Finance)

Responsibilities

1. Manufacture products and components according to product specifications, drawings, BOMs, work orders, and/or run schedules.
2. Perform setup and change-over operations of assigned equipment, including die change-overs and metal steel coil change-overs.
3. Ensure product specifications and quality by following established procedures, SOPs, maintaining proper settings, and adhering to quality standards.
4. Verify product specifications and quality through inspection, observation, and measurement of workpieces.
5. Adjust machine/equipment performance to meet product specifications and quality standards.
6. Troubleshoot machinery, equipment, and products when out of quality or specifications, or if operation is improper/inoperable.
7. Utilize hand and power tools, cranes, and other material handling devices for manufacturing assistance.
8. Fabricate and assemble sectional and rolling door sections and components as required.
9. Perform operator preventative maintenance according to the equipment/machinery schedule.

Qualifications

1. 2-3 years of industrial manufacturing experience.
2. Ability to read and understand work instructions in English.
3. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide, and convert fractions in all units of measure.
4. Effective use of measuring tools.

Education

• Preferred High School Diploma or GED.

Physical or Work Environment Requirements

• Frequent bending, pulling/pushing, reaching, and lifting periodically up to 75 pounds.
• Regularly lift up to 35 pounds.
