Job summary

Spectrum Control is seeking a Production Operator to work across kiln and post-kiln operations as directed by the area supervisor, contributing to daily planning and process flow.

The role involves handling ceramics, solvents, dust, and metals, with emphasis on reliability, teamwork, and adherence to work specifications in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent required.
• 1+ years of production/manufacturing experience.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable.
• Basic reading and comprehension.

Responsibilities

• Inspect products for flaws under a microscope and report flaws to area lead or supervisor.
• Review and follow work specifications.
• Set up standard daily work.
• Track and input work order moves and product output into production move system.
• Train and work where assigned in pre- and post-kiln operations.
• Work effectively on individual job assignments or as a member of a team.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Perform other duties or flex to other areas as required by supervisor.
• Assist in the training of new operators when needed.

The Production Operator will work in any or all kiln and post-kiln operations as determined by the area supervisor based on the daily work-in-process and operational situations on the production floor.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education: High School or Equivalent.
• Experience Years: 1 or more years.
• Experience Type: Production/Manufacturing.
• OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Basic reading and comprehension.
• Ability to tolerate work with or around ceramics, solvents, dust, and liquid & solid metals.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Production Floor in a Manufacturing Facility.
