Job summary

Commercial Metals in South Carolina is seeking a Production Associate to join our manufacturing team. You will operate production equipment, maintain a clean, safe work area, and participate in CMC safety programs while supporting daily operations in a fast-paced environment.

This role requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in various weather conditions, and teamwork with strong multitasking and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
• Team player in a fast-paced environment with multitasking, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
• Minimum 1 year experience in recycling and/or manufacturing preferred.
• Experience operating forklift, skid steer, loader or similar equipment.
• Prior knowledge of metal identification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintains work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follows safety regulations.
• Operates production equipment in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
• Participates in the CMC Safety Programs and proactively upholds the CMC Safety Culture.
