Job summary

CMC is offering an opportunity to learn the steel, construction reinforcement and ground stabilization industries and to grow in your career. You may work in offices, operate a crane, run manufacturing equipment, or troubleshoot technical obstacles with training and team support to help you excel.

The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in all weather conditions, and be a team player in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in all weather conditions.
• Experience in recycling or manufacturing environments preferred (1 year).
• Experience operating forklift, skid steer, loader or similar equipment.
• Prior knowledge of metal identification is a plus.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follow safety regulations.
• Operate production equipment in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
• Participate in safety programs and uphold the safety culture.
• Perform any other tasks as assigned by supervisor.

What You’ll Do

• Maintain work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follow safety regulations
• Operate production equipment in accordance with established procedures and guidelines
• Participate in the CMC Safety Programs and proactively uphold the CMC Safety Culture
• Perform any other tasks as assigned by supervisor

What You’ll Need

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
• Team player in a fast‑paced environment, strong multitasking, attention to detail, and organizational skills
• Minimum 1 year experience in recycling and/or manufacturing environment preferred
• Previous experience operating forklift, skid steer, loader or similar equipment
• Prior knowledge of metal identification is a plus

Your Education

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred
