Job summary

Mitsubishi Films America in Greer, SC is hiring for a position within the Mitsubishi Chemical Group Polyester Film Division. The role involves processing quality film in a manufacturing setting and earning job certification through structured training.

Starting pay is $24.35 per hour with progression up to $33.45 based on certification and assignment, with benefits beginning on day one and access to an on-site medical clinic.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to pass on-the-job training including safety training and forklift training.
• Dependable and able to work in a team-based environment.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong desire to learn and progress within manufacturing.
• Computer skills required.
• Must pass post-offer onboarding which includes drug screen and background check.
• Able to work 12-hour rotating shifts (4 on/4 off; 4 weeks day and 4 weeks night).
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Job Responsibilities

• Process quality film safely in a manufacturing work environment following established processes and procedures.
• Certify and learn job according to training documentation and certify to required level.

Knowledge / Skills / Experience

• High School diploma or GED from a school accredited by the U.S. Department of Education or state/country of residence
• Must be able to pass on-the-job training requirements which may include physical – lifting, pushing and pulling, computer-based safety training, and forklift training.
• Must be dependable and able to work in team-based environment.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Must have a strong desire to learn and progress within a manufacturing environment.

Pay Transparency

• Starting pay is $24.35 with open progression up to $33.45 depending upon job certification and job assignment. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary will be subject to geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
