Pay & Hours

Production Operator Pay: $27.35 per hour plus Shift Differential: $1.00 per hour. 3rd shift: 10:30pm-7:00am, Monday‑Friday. Overtime, weekends, holidays are required as needed. This is a union facility covered under a collective bargaining agreement.

Job Overview

The Palletizer Operator is primarily responsible for operating palletizers, wrappers, and loading trucks. The main goal is to palletize all feed ordered for the warehouse while ensuring accurate paperwork, labeling, and product specifications. The role requires maintaining and cleaning the palletizer, running systems safely, and following supervisor instructions.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate palletizers and related systems to palletize feed.
• Complete all shipping paperwork accurately.
• Ensure feed is in the correct bag and labeled correctly with proper pallet labels.
• Maintain and clean palletizer and supporting systems regularly.
• Familiarize with products and their specifications.
• Work 40+ hours per week and palletize 4,500 bags in an 8‑hour shift on any packing line.

Required Experience and Skills

• 18 years or older.
• At least 1 year of work experience in any industry.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Reading, writing, comprehending and following verbal and written instructions in English.
• Willingness to learn new skills, problem‑solve and troubleshoot.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills; respectful behavior.

Preferred Experience

• At least 1 year of manufacturing work experience.
• Machine operation and/or forklift experience.

Physical Requirements

• Lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Frequent walking, standing, bending/stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, and other active movements.
• Perform duties wearing mandatory personal protective equipment.
• Work in temperature zones that include cold, hot, dust, and chemical environments for extended periods.
• Work scheduled shift which may include weekends, some holidays, and periodic overtime.
