Job summary

Land O'Lakes is hiring a Production Operator in a 3rd shift (Mon-Fri, 10:30 PM–7:00 AM) at a union facility. Pay is $27.35 per hour with a $1.00 shift differential.

The role involves operating machinery, packaging final products, and supporting Purina Animal Nutrition operations across the US. Responsibilities include safety adherence, meeting deadlines, multitasking in a fast-paced setting, maintaining quality and cleanliness, and collaborating with leads and management.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and able to perform physically demanding tasks.
• At least 1 year of work experience in any industry required.
• Basic computer and math skills are expected.
• Able to read, write, comprehend, and follow English instructions.
• Willingness to learn new skills, solve problems, and troubleshoot.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills; respectful team player.

Production Operator

Pay: $27.35 per hour plus Shift Differential $1.00

Shift & Working Hours: Monday-Friday; 3rd Shift; 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM Weekends/Overtime/Holidays as needed.

This is a Union Facility, and this position is covered by a Collective Bargaining Agreement.

As the Bulk Unloader , you will be a key member of our Land O'Lakes, Inc. manufacturing team, performing front-line production processes that add value and quality to the inputs and creation of final high-quality products. You will gain skills and experience of taking raw materials to produce our final products for customers. This will include operating machinery and equipment, packaging the final product. Required Experience and Skills:

Preferred Experience:

• 1+ year of manufacturing work experience
• Machine operation and/or forklift experience

Physical Requirements:

• Able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds
• Frequent movement including walking, standing, bending/stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, climbing and other active movements
• Performing duties while wearing personal protective equipment
• Working in temperature zones that include cold and/or hot environments for extended periods and may include areas where dust and chemicals are present
