Job summary

Smart Ims in Pittsburgh is seeking a production operator for an onsite role in the first and second shifts. You will operate paint-making control systems and production equipment, load materials, monitor quality, and maintain logs and inventory.

The position requires hands-on manufacturing tasks, basic troubleshooting, and collaboration with other departments to meet customer demands, while keeping a safe and organized workplace and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Operate paint-making control systems and manufacturing equipment such as pumps, valves, filling machines, case packers, labelers, robotics, and forklifts.
• Load and unload raw materials and finished goods.
• Monitor raw materials and finished products for quality and compliance with specifications.
• Maintain production records, equipment logs, and inventory levels.
• Perform routine manufacturing tasks and minor equipment troubleshooting.
• Support production schedules and collaborate with other departments to meet customer demands.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Assist with continuous improvement initiatives and operational efficiency projects.
