Production Operator (Warping Dept) - 3rd shift
(Pine Grove, PA - Guilford Performance Textiles by LEAR)

As a member of the Warping team, the Production Operator will be responsible for:

• Assisting in keeping machines in constant operation, repairing flanges, lifting/dropping beams, and making proper adjustments on machines.
• Checking the front and back of assigned machines to ensure no productivity or quality issues after repairs.
• Starting up machines, recording defects on tickets and production reports, and documenting necessary information.

The Role:

Your work will include, but is not limited to:

• Operating warping machines.
• Being able to lift packages.
• Qualifying on all warpers.
• Assisting in creeling and warping changes.
• Doffing warpers (changing beams).
• Maintaining disc tensions and guide alignment.
• Reporting warp yarn issues or quality problems to supervisors.
• Adjusting machines to keep beam measurements correct as per SOP.
• Assisting in cleaning the warping area.
• Performing other duties as assigned by management.
• Maintaining personal work habits to meet job demands.
• Meeting deadlines and production quotas.
• Performing additional duties as needed.
