Job summary

CoreFX Ingredients in Orangeville, IL is seeking motivated individuals to join our food production plant. The role offers full-time employment with 12-hour rotating shifts from 4:30pm to 5:00am and a starting wage of $20.00 per hour.

Overtime is scheduled and weekends are required to be available. Responsibilities include teamwork on production and sanitation, maintaining area cleanliness, operating the packaging line, and ensuring safety and compliance with plant procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience within food production preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to work 12 hour shifts, must be flexible to shift.
• Available to work weekends.
• Must be able to stand on feet for long periods of time.
• Lift 50 lbs. repetitiously.

Responsibilities

• Work on a team to provide production and sanitation support.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas to facility standards.
• Work on packaging line, to maintain efficiency of product timelines.
• Comply with all safety standards and regulations provided by the company and government.
• Ability to work in all assigned areas of production including packaging; perform relief duties when required.
• Ensure that the Master Sanitation Schedule as well as environmental cleaning is consistently completed.
• Ensure that all documentation is completed and verified daily.
• Ensure all equipment and facility is properly cleaned per plant procedures and requirements.
• Work effectively as part of a team and display a positive attitude.
• Be cooperative and take initiative to ensure smooth operations.
• Perform other duties/projects as apparent or assigned.

Job description

We are looking for motivated individuals to assist our food production plant in Orangeville, IL. Only 20 minutes from Freeport and 15 minutes from Monroe WI.

Hours: 4:30pm–5:00am, rotating 2/2/3 shifts. Scheduled overtime and predictable days off.

Job Type: Full-Time. Pay: $20.00 per hour.

SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work in a safe and responsible manner at all times, following all safety policies, procedures, and rules.
• Report unsafe observations or conditions to a supervisor or manager.
• Immediately report an injury or accident to a supervisor or manager.
• Meet all company requirements for training, including but not limited to Hazcom, Chemical Safety, Log Out/Tag Out, Confined Space, PPE, PIT, Ergonomics, etc.
