A busy West Akron company is seeking an experienced Mechanic for Production Line Set up. This is a great opportunity for an individual with the desire to grow and learn while on the job. If you are enthusiastic, and punctual, we NEED you!

2nd shift 3p-1a Monday-Thursday. The Production Line Set Up Technician is responsible for preparing, adjusting, and configuring production lines to ensure efficient, safe, and accurate manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in manufacturing, production, or line set up preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools.
• Ability to read and follow work orders, diagrams, and production schedules.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities

• Set up production lines, machines, tooling, and equipment prior to production runs.
• Load materials, components, and supplies according to work orders.
• Adjust machine settings to meet product specifications and production requirements.
• Perform changeovers between product runs efficiently to minimize downtime.
• Conduct start-up checks to ensure equipment is operating safely and correctly.
• Troubleshoot basic mechanical or operational issues during set.
• Follow all safety, quality, and GMPs.
• Communicate with supervisors and operators regarding set up requirements and issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Assist production team as needed during active runs.

Job Summary
