Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a diligent machine operator to support bottling water production in Nebraska. You will run fillers, labelers, cappers, palletizers, and related line equipment while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities include loading materials, performing inspections, recording downtime, and aiding maintenance where needed. A forklift certification and manufacturing experience are required.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of two years work-related experience or training preferred.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed.
  • Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
  • Computer experience is preferred.
  • Previous Forklift Certification and experience in a Manufacturing/Warehouse required.

  • Tend bottling line machines and packaging equipment.
  • Operate equipment safely and ensure product quality.
  • Perform basic machine operations and handling of materials.
  • Monitor finished goods flow and correct disturbances.
  • Maintain clean and safe work area; follow SOPs and GMPs.

Responsibilities
  • Tend machines such as fillers, labelers, packaging, cappers, palletizers, etc. used for bottling water.
  • Operate manufacturing equipment in an efficient and safe manner while ensuring package and product quality.
  • Perform basic machine operations to include operating machines, stacking raw material, handling finished product cases, performing quality inspections and minor machine adjustments.
  • Monitor the flow of outgoing finished goods and correct any disturbance in the flow of those goods.
  • Clean equipment and line continually throughout the shift and maintain a clean work area.
  • Expedite repairs to the line; work with maintenance as necessary.
  • Keep daily records of downtime and machine operations.
  • Follow standard operating procedures for all operations.
  • Maintain a clean, orderly and safe work area at all times.
  • Follow all established Good Manufacturing Practices.
Requirements
