Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Thorough knowledge of filling and packaging equipment.
• Good mechanical ability including diagnosis and resolution of mechanical abnormalities and ability to set up and maintain machinery with routine adjustments.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain manufacturing equipment to meet or exceed internal and external customer requirements.
• Operate filling and/or packaging equipment.
• Perform minor mechanical repairs and replace certain defective parts.
• Troubleshoot issues on the HMI and adjust as needed.
• Maintain daily production and quality records; operate equipment safely; keep work area clean.
• Assist in training production assistants to ensure quality parameters, GMPs and safety rules are followed.
• Perform sanitation of filling line equipment, including C.I.P. circuits and handling chemicals with PPE.
• Follow food safety policies, GMPs, FSMA and preventive controls.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Operate filling and/or packaging equipment.
• Perform minor mechanical repairs and replace certain defective parts.
• Demonstrate thorough understanding of filler and packing functions; troubleshoot issues and make necessary adjustments in the HMI.
• Maintain daily production and quality records, operate equipment safely, keep work area clean.
• Assist in training production assistants to ensure quality parameters are adhered to, and GMPs and safety rules are followed.
• Perform sanitation of filling line equipment, including operating C.I.P. circuits, mixing chemicals in correct proportions following safety requirements and wearing required PPE.
• Follow all food safety policies, procedures, and regulatory criteria, including SQF code, GMPs, FSMA, and associated preventive controls.
• Other duties as assigned.
