Position Overview

Georgia-Pacific is hiring Production Associates at our Corrugated facility in Mogadore, OH. Pay starts at $23.69 per hour with shift differentials: $0.50 for second shift and $1.00 for third shift. Employees are eligible for 2 weeks of paid vacation annually after 90 days of service.

Shifts: Rotating 1st & 2nd Shift (7:00 AM–3:00 PM / 3:00 PM–11:00 PM, rotating weekly) and Fixed 3rd Shift (11:00 PM–7:00 PM). Orientation period will be on 1st shift. Candidates must be flexible to work any shift, overtime, holidays, and weekends. Final shift assignments will be based on business needs.

Location: 3265 Gilchrist Rd, Mogadore, OH 44260.

Responsibilities

• Lifting up to 50 lbs and performing physical work (walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing, pulling) for up to twelve (12) hours per day in a non‑climate‑controlled, loud industrial environment.
• Operate equipment to meet defined standards and product specification targets.
• Monitor and enter data into computer control systems.
• Troubleshoot equipment to optimize production.
• Perform basic asset care duties, including routine preventive maintenance and cleaning of the work area.
• Work as a team to meet or exceed production, waste, quality, and safety goals.
• Operate and/or work around mobile equipment.
• Maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, including wearing personal protective equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience in an industrial setting.
• Basic math and measurement skills (e.g., using a tape measure, calculating dimensions).
• Completion of post‑high‑school education in manufacturing/industrial (preferred).
• Experience using a computer, tablet, or smart device.
• At least 1 year of experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• At least 1 year of experience operating a forklift and forklift certification (preferred).
