Job summary

Georgia-Pacific is hiring Production Associates at our Corrugated facility in Mogadore, OH. The role offers hourly pay with a shift differential and requires the ability to perform physically demanding tasks in a loud industrial environment.

Two shifts rotate (7:00 AM–3:00 PM and 3:00 PM–11:00 PM); a fixed night shift is also available (11:00 PM–7:00 AM). Orientation starts on first shift, and overtime/holidays/weekends may be required as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience of at least one year in an industrial setting.
• Basic math and measurement skills (e.g., using a tape measure).

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks such as lifting up to 50lbs, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for up to twelve hours a day in a non climate controlled, loud environment.
• Operate equipment to defined standards and product specification targets.
• Monitor and/or entry into computer control systems.
• Troubleshoot equipment to optimize production.
• Perform basic asset care duties including routine preventative maintenance and cleaning of work area.
• Work as a team to meet production, waste, quality, and safety goals.

Georgia-Pacific is now hiring Production Associates to join our Corrugated facility in Mogadore, OH!

Salary: $23.69 per hour

Shift Differential: $0.50 for second shift & $1.00 for third shift

Vacation: After 90 days of service, employees are eligible to receive2 weeks of paid vacation annually

Shifts:

There are two shifts at the facility:

Rotating 1 st Shift and 2 nd Shifts =7:00 AM to 3:00 PM and 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM (rotates weekly)

Fixed 3 rd Shift= 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM (does not rotate)

• Please note that the first week of orientation will be on 1 st shift
• Only candidates who are flexible and available to workanyshift, overtime, holidays, and weekends as needed will be considered.
• Final shift assignments will be determined based on business needs at the time of hire.

What You Will Do

• Maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, to include wearing safety equipment

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Experience of at least one (1) year in an industrial setting
• Experience using basic math and measurement skills (e.g., using a tape measure, calculating dimensions)

What Will Put You Ahead

• Completion of post high school education in manufacturing/industrial.
• Experience using a computer, tablet, or smart device
• 1+ years' experience working within a manufacturing or industrial environment
• 1+ years' experience operating a forklift
