Georgia‑Pacific is hiring Production Associates to join our Corrugated facility in Augusta, GA.

• Salary: $19.58 per hour (regular). 2nd shift differential $0.50/hr, 3rd shift differential $0.75/hr.
• Shift: Candidates must be flexible to work any shift. Orientation on week 1 will be 1st shift (7 am – 3 pm); shift assignment thereafter.
• Shift Hours:
  • 2nd Shift: 3:00 pm – 11:00 pm
  • 3rd Shift: 11:00 pm – 7:00 am (starts Monday night)
  • Overtime, holidays, weekends as needed.
• Physical location: 1745 Doug Barnard Pkwy, Augusta, GA 30906.

Our Team

Our team assists with the production of corrugated boxes for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment to defined standards and product specification targets.
• Monitor and enter data into computer control systems.
• Troubleshoot equipment to optimize production.
• Perform basic asset care duties, including routine preventative maintenance and cleaning of work area.
• Work as a team to help meet or exceed production, waste, quality, and safety goals.
• Operate and/or work around mobile equipment.
• Maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, including wearing safety equipment.
• Perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for up to twelve (12) hours a day in a loud/noisy, industrial, high‑volume environment.

Basic Qualifications

• One (1) year or more of continuous experience in a manufacturing, industrial, farming, or military environment, or completion of post‑high‑school education in a manufacturing/industrial centered program.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using a computer, tablet, or smart device.
• Experience working in the corrugated packaging industry.
