Job summary

Crown Linen, LLC in Miami, FL is seeking a Production Operator to accurately identify linen belonging to each account and feed it into the processing line while ensuring cleanliness and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• 3+ months related experience in commercial laundry or hotel industry.
• Able to follow simple instructions and product labeling.
• Able to perform basic arithmetic with two-digit numbers.
• Able to work both independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Feed machinery with sheets, duvets, towels, and other linens.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation.
• Identify damaged, dirty, or mixed linen and sort properly.
• Ensure linen processed belongs to the correct account.
• Maintain production pace to meet targets and IT system measures.
• Log into the IT system during shifts and monitor performance.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

GENERAL PURPOSEThis position is responsible for properly recognize the correct linen belonging to the account being processed. You must ensure there is no mixed, dirty, or damaged linen before feeding into the machine or hand-folding it. You must maintain a fast pace speed meeting company’s expectations while practicing safety procedures. In addition, the Production Operators will help on making sure the machinery is working properly, by communicating with their leaders of any issues.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESFeeding machinery with sheets, Duvets, bathrobes pillowcases, towels, tablecloths napkins, matsResponsible for maintaining a clean and organized working station.Ensure the linen being process belongs to the account assigned.Identify any damaged, dirty, or mixed linen and properly place it in the correct containers.Maintain an average of 85% or above for production based on the IT system in place. (Spindle)Must be logged into the IT system in place.
