Job summary

StatLab in McKinney, TX is seeking a Production Line Operator to operate and monitor filling equipment and packaging lines. You will pull and verify work orders, feed bottles, lids, and product into machines, inspect labels and codes, and perform routine torque tests with hourly sampling.

You will package finished goods and perform basic troubleshooting, escalating machine problems as needed. The role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 25 pounds, and availability for overtime.

Qualifications

  • Basic computer usage and ability to read work instructions.
  • Ability to perform basic addition and subtraction.
  • Able to visually inspect coding, labeling and finished goods.
  • Must meet physical demands including standing and lifting up to 25 pounds.
  • Overtime availability is required; the role involves 95% standing and manual tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Production line operation – 100% of the time.
  • Pulls work orders at the beginning of the shift and throughout the shift as needed, verifies work order labels and data, ensuring accuracy prior to starting production.
  • Pulls case of appropriate loose bottles/lids/products from pallets and pours into machine; inspects lab code, label, fill level, and cross-threads.
  • Runs production equipment at standard rates; performs torque tests on random samples and records results.
  • Packages filled bottles into trays, prints and labels boxes/cases; stops machine at end of run, cleans and maintains equipment and work area; escalates issues to Maintenance or Lead as required.

The duties described above are not inclusive. Additional duties may be permanently assigned or required from time to time due to the need to respond to customer needs and remain competitive in the marketplace.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities Required
  • Basic computer usage including mouse.
  • Ability to read and understand work instructions and maintenance manuals.
  • Ability to perform basic addition and subtraction.
  • Ability to visually inspect required coding, product labeling, and finished goods to identify defects and to match products with the appropriate packaging.
  • Ability to meet physical demands of the job which include, but are not limited to: sitting, walking, bending, pushing, pulling, lifting, and walking for extended periods of time on a concrete floor, and occasionally lifting and carrying items which may weigh up to 25 pounds. Requires 95% of time standing and using hands to pull and fill boxes.
  • Must be available for overtime work as needed, the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

This position pays $16.45 per hour with the ability to earn up to $100.00 more per month in KPI
