Overview

Stryten Energy in Manchester, IA is currently looking for qualified candidates to fill Production Operator positions in our production departments. Successful candidates must have mechanical ability and accurate math and measurement skills. You should be able to control output of various machines to produce quality parts within required specifications, meet or exceed daily production goals, and work effectively in a team-based manufacturing environment.

Shifts Available: Day and 2nd Shift

Starting pay rate = $24.50 per hour

Manchester is a city in Delaware County, Iowa, located along Highway 20 between Dyersville and Independence. Delaware County is centrally located, about 45 minutes from Cedar Rapids, Waterloo, and Dubuque, offering access to various recreational and community amenities, including golf courses, parks, museums, retail shops, a movie theatre, festivals, water sports, and entertainment. Bonus Opportunities:

Responsibilities:

• Work with the line team to meet daily production targets.
• Perform first piece inspection during the first hour at your station.
• Meet daily production schedules and complete required documentation.
• Communicate effectively with team members for training and responsibilities.
• Follow quality control specifications and maintain SPC charts.
• Keep work area clean and perform testing and preventive maintenance as required.
• Adhere to safety regulations and wear PPE as outlined.
• Follow Lean Manufacturing procedures and Quality System requirements.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Physical requirements include standing, lifting, bending, twisting, and working in various environmental conditions. PPE must be worn as required. Ability to lift heavy objects is necessary. Equipment used includes hand tools, control panels, and data collection devices.

Required skills include mechanical aptitude, basic computer literacy, and the ability to pass pre-employment assessments. A GED or high school diploma is preferred but not mandatory. Prior manufacturing experience is helpful.
