Production Operator Nights - $20.28 - Shift premium $3/HR

The Production Operator performs various tasks in plant operations, utilizing state-of-the-art quality systems to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction. Prior production experience, attention to detail, and pride in work are required.

What You’ll Do

• Perform equipment setup, clean-up, packaging, filling, labeling, maintenance, and other operational duties.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards, including cleaning and sanitizing equipment and work areas.
• Inspect incoming materials and finished goods, report non-conformances, and make minor corrections.
• Execute quality system procedures and work instructions.
• Operate multiple machines such as fillers, cappers, robots, and casing equipment; perform inspections and quality checks, and complete documentation accurately.
• Run packaging equipment consistently and provide relief for other operators as needed.
• Comply with Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
• Monitor computer terminals and OIT screens.

Qualifications & Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience as a Production Operator.
• Strong math and communication skills; fluent in English.
• Ability to learn operator control panels and run automated casing equipment.
• Mechanical aptitude for equipment start-up, shutdown, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to identify line issues, non-conforming products, and employ corrective actions.
• Physical ability to perform repetitive tasks, lift up to 50 pounds, and stand for long periods.
• Valid forklift license and safe operation skills.
• Availability to work 10.5-hour shifts, including overtime and unpaid lunch.

Pay Range: $46,800 - $57,200. Compensation may vary based on location, experience, and skills. Benefits include medical, financial, and other perks, depending on the role.
