Your Job

Guardian Glass is looking for a motivated Production Operator to join our team in Kingsburg, CA! Production Operators perform a variety of coordinated activities that work to build on our safety, quality, and production goals. The selected individual will work with co-workers, team leads, and supervisors to develop their skills and improve our culture.

Pay: For this role, we anticipate paying $18/hr with an increase to $19/hr after 1 year. We offer a robust benefits package that includes a 401K plan with a 7% Match and 120 hours of vacation time. In addition, we offer "On-Demand pay! Your money, when you want it.

Shift: 12 hour rotating days and nights

What You Will Do

• Operate and troubleshoot equipment utilized during daily manufacturing
• Prepare final products for shipping and distribution
• Understand and execute daily run schedules, resolve quality issues, report/escalate unresolved issues immediately
• Actively contribute to team goals and manage assignments effectively
• Ensure high quality of products, housekeeping and hygiene standards are maintained
• Perform tasks such as lifting (up to 50lbs), walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for up to 12 hours/day in a loud/noisy, hot, humid, dusty, and high-volume environment
• Maintain a strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, including wearing safety equipment

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Experience using a computer or tablet

What Will Put You Ahead

• One or more years of combined experience working in a farming, manufacturing, industrial, or military environment
• Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance
• Six months or more of machine operator experience
• Experience operating a forklift
