Job summary

Land O'Lakes, Inc. is seeking a frontline production teammate for our Nutra Blend manufacturing team. You will operate machinery, assist in packaging, and contribute to turning raw materials into high-quality final products for customers.

The role offers 2nd shift from 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm with potential overtime and weekend requirements. Competitive hourly pay includes a $1 shift differential and benefits as part of a member-owned co-op.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• 1 year or more of work experience in any industry.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Able to read, write, comprehend, follow verbal and written instructions in English.

Job description

Pay: $21.75 per hour plus Shift Differential: $1 per hour

Shift & Working Hours: 2nd Shift: 3pm to 11:30pm, Weekends/Overtime/Holidays as needed.

In this role, you will be a key member of our Land O’Lakes, Inc. manufacturing team, performing front-line production processes that add value and quality to the inputs and creation of final high-quality products. You will gain skills and experience of taking raw materials to produce our final products for customers. This will include operating machinery and equipment, packaging the final product. This role is part of our Nutra Blend business who is an industry leader in manufacturing and distributing quality vitamins, trace minerals, micro-ingredients, and antibiotic premixes for the feed industry.

Required Experience And Skills

Preferred Experience

• 1+ year of manufacturing work experience
• Machine operation and/or forklift experience

Physical Requirements

• Able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds
• Frequent movement including walking, standing, bending/stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, climbing and other active movements
• Performing duties while wearing personal protective equipment
• Working in temperature zones that include cold and/or hot environments for extended periods and may include areas where dust and chemicals are present
