Job summary

Cad Engineering Resources Inc in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a Production Operator to manufacture quality products safely. You will assemble parts on a bench or conveyor, operate machines, and support material handling in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires the ability to lift up to 45 lbs, stand for long periods, and pass a drug screen; background check also applies. Shifts include first (5:30am–4:00pm) and second (4:00pm–2:30am) with overtime and weekend work as scheduled.

• Move wheeled carts, racks, or bins containing work in-progress to adjacent production areas

• Cleaning surrounding work areas
• May be assigned different duties depending on plant needs

• First Shift: 5:30am-4:00pm (OT and weekend work required as scheduled)
• Second Shift: 4:00pm-2:30am (OT and weekend work required as scheduled)

Summary Of The Production Operator

The primary role of the Production Operator is to manufacture quality products in a safe manner. Responsible for assembling and/or fitting parts together to form complete units or subassemblies at a bench or a conveyor line. May include operations requiring the use of simple hand tools and/or power tools or special assembly tools.

Requirements Of The Production Operator

• Ability to frequently lift up to 45lbs.
• Ability to frequently bend, reach, or twist
• Ability to frequently lift, transfer at waist-height 30lbs.
• Ability to stand and/or walk long periods of time
• MUST PASS DRUG SCREEN
