Job summary

Kelly Services is seeking a Production Operator in Florence, KY, for 1st shift (Mon-Fri) from 7:45 AM to 8:00 PM. The role offers a $19.00/hour pay rate and full-time hours in a reputable manufacturing setting with a focus on safety and teamwork.

You will operate mixers and production lines, palletize materials, track inventory, and perform quality inspections while helping maintain efficient operations and a clean 6S-compliant workspace. Boots must be worn and PPE is provided onsite.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or preferred.
• General manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Own steel-toed boots (required); PPE provided onsite (boots not included).

Responsibilities

• Operate mixers and production lines to support facility operations.
• Palletize WIP or finished goods and build pallets.
• Track inventory and downtime, complete required paperwork.
• Unload/load trucks, stage shipments, and label outbound orders.
• Perform quality inspections and help optimize material flow.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area per the 6S process.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.

Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $19.00/hour

Shift: 1st Shift, Mon-Fri, 7:45AM-8PM

What’s a typical day as Production Operator? You’ll be:

• Operating mixers and production lines to support facility operations
• Palletizing work-in-progress (WIP) or finished goods and building pallets
• Tracking inventory and downtime, completing required paperwork
• Unloading and loading trucks, staging shipments accurately, and labeling for outbound orders
• Performing quality inspections and collaborating with production teams to ensure material flow and process efficiency
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area in accordance with the 6S process
• Supporting general housekeeping standards and assisting with other duties as assigned
