Job description

1st Shift - Production Operator

Hourly Wage: $20.00

Role & Responsibilities:

• Make equipment adjustments to meet specifications and perform quality checks, recording results accurately.
• Change settings on equipment during changeovers.
• Record all production data into the MDIS system.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment as needed.

Qualifications:

• Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment following all safety rules and practices.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping.
• Proficient in data entry and reporting using computer skills.
• Recognize measurements outside specified ranges using measuring devices like tape measures and micrometers.
• Read and follow documented inspection procedures and work orders.
• Navigate Microsoft Office and Outlook for document review and email communication.
• Learn to operate plant equipment and use common hand tools properly.
• Troubleshoot minor process issues.
• Communicate effectively with co-workers.
• Identify unsafe conditions or hazards.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure safety, quality, and production goals.
• Learn and retain procedures for continuous improvement.
• Use online tools to monitor product specifications and ensure compliance.
• Adjust machines and processes to meet specifications.
• Obtain or maintain forklift operation certification and operate forklifts safely.

Note: Pay rate may vary based on qualifications and experience.
