Production Operator

Our Coosa Pines location in Childersburg, AL is seeking candidates for the position of Production Operator.

This is an entry-level position across any of our 7 departments.

Starting pay during probation is $22.65/hour, progressing to $24.19 - $33.15/hour upon certification.

Must be willing to work a 12-hour rotating shift schedule, including days and nights.

Knowledge and Experience

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 2 years of manufacturing or industrial experience preferred, but not mandatory

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work up to 16-hour shifts
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods
• Capability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs
• Ability to climb ladders or stairs
• Comfortable working at heights
• Must be able to pull 4 pulp sheets weighing up to 50 lbs every 8 minutes
• Able to grip and use a utility knife with cut-resistant sleeves and gloves
• Good eye/hand coordination and balance, working around rotating/moving equipment
