Our Coosa Pines location in Childersburg, AL is currently seeking talent to fill the position of Production Operator.

This position is an entry-level position in any of our 7 departments.

Probationary pay is $22.65/hour until certified on the next job up ($24.19 - $33.15/hour).

Must be willing to work a 12-hour rotating shift schedule (both days and nights).

Knowledge and Experience

1. High School Diploma or GED
2. 2 years manufacturing or industrial experience preferred, but not required.

Physical Requirements

1. Must be capable of working up to 16 hr shifts.
2. Required to stand/walk for long periods of time.
3. Must be capable of pulling, pushing or lifting up to 50 lbs.
4. Able to climb ladders or stairs.
5. Comfortable working at heights.
6. Must be able to pull 4 pulp sheets up to 50lbs of force every 8 minutes.
7. Must be able to grip and use a utility knife with cut-resistant sleeves and gloves.
8. Good eye/hand coordination and balance as working around rotating/moving equipment and product.
