Job summary

FALL CREEK FARM & NURSERY in Chandler, AZ is seeking a production line team member to help meet daily goals and maintain product quality on a day shift.

You will set up and operate equipment, document data, and communicate issues to supervisors while ensuring a safe, clean work area. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and forklift certification is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Willing to become forklift-certified.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate and troubleshoot equipment on the production line.
• Conduct visual inspections, measurements and testing per procedures.
• Record production data accurately in the computer system.
• Communicate production issues with the supervisor and other departments.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and perform basic maintenance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

This role works on the production line to meet defined goals. The position will communicate production issues and take direction from the department supervisor and/or lead on daily basis. This is a day shift position; the scheduled hours are Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and every other Wednesday from 6:00am to 6:00pm.

Essential Functions:

• Set up, operate and troubleshoot complex equipment to ensure safe, efficient production of materials.
• Perform visual inspection, measurement and testing in accordance with established procedures
• Accurately record production data into the computer database
• Communicate with various departments regarding product quality issues, material availability and processing issues
• Maintain safe work environment, including cleaning, minor maintenance on the equipment and area clean up
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent. May consider equivalent work experience in lieu of education
• Willing and able to become certified in fork lift operation
