Job summary

Siemens in Buffalo Grove, IL, is seeking a Production Operator for 1st shift. You will manufacture products by following visual aids, work instructions, and quality standards while operating production equipment and hand tools.

Responsibilities include rotating between stations, moving materials to support workflow, and maintaining accurate production records. You must be able to lift up to 25 pounds, read English instructions, and be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions in English, including assembly, testing, safety, and equipment documentation.
• Assemble and adjust products per work instructions, specifications, and quality standards.
• Lift, carry, and move materials weighing up to 25 pounds.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture products by following visual aids, written work instructions, established procedures, and verbal directions.
• Operate hand, pneumatic, and power tools, as well as small and large production equipment, material handling devices, and computer-controlled machinery.
• Move materials and components as needed to support production requirements and maintain efficient material flow.
• Rotating between workstations, work cells, and departments to support operational needs and production schedules.
• Completing and maintaining required production, quality, and departmental records.
• Identifying and reporting process, equipment, or quality issues to appropriate personnel.
• Performing product, equipment, and process setups, adjustments, and changeovers in accordance with established procedures.
• Supporting a safe, organized, and team-oriented work environment while meeting quality and productivity expectations.
