Job summary

Torrey Holistics is hiring a Production Floor Utility Associate for the Des Plaines, IL area. This hourly full-time role (3rd shift, 3:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m.) offers hands-on tasks, safety focus, and opportunities to progress toward Operator roles.

You’ll partner with machine operators, follow precise work orders, perform quality checks, and maintain clean, safe work areas while supporting production goals and waste reduction.

Qualifications

• Basic safety practices are required on the production floor.
• Ability to read tape measures and interpret simple measurements.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work orders.
• Team-oriented mindset with reliable attendance and safety focus.
• Experience with handling heavy materials is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Partner with operators to support machine startups, changeovers and runs.
• Review and follow work orders and machine instructions precisely.
• Complete quality checks and record findings clearly.
• Keep equipment and floors clean; perform routine housekeeping.
• Help minimize waste and hit production goals; uphold safety procedures.
