Job Description

Toyal America, Inc. is seeking a Production Operator to join our team in Lockport, IL. This position is responsible for operating process equipment, following established procedures to ensure safe operation and high-quality production. It reports directly to the Production Supervisors within the Operations Group.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Observe all safety rules and perform all tasks safely.
• Perform all ISO requirements related to job tasks.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions.
• Record operational data such as temperatures and processing times.
• Draw samples of product for analysis at specified stages.
• Inspect equipment for leaks and malfunctions, monitor operating conditions, and shut down equipment if necessary.
• Measure, weigh, and mix ingredients according to orders.
• Adjust controls to regulate temperature, feed, flow, and reaction times.
• Monitor gauges and recording instruments to ensure compliance with work orders.
• Report work concerns to management.
• Identify and troubleshoot problems after training.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping.
• Collaborate effectively with team members.
• Perform all other assigned tasks.

Additional duties include monitoring and reporting material flow accurately through physical checks and within the company's computerized inventory system.

Position Requirements:

• Preferred: 1 year of machine/production operator experience.
• High school diploma or GED; must pass a math test with at least 80%.
• Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts including weekends.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs.
• Ability to stand for 80% of the shift.
• Forklift experience is a plus but not required.
