Job description

In this position, employees will work in various roles on the finishing line, producing joint compound. As an operator, you will communicate product quality to the team and maintain standards. You will work rotating shifts since the plant operates 24/7/365. The individual must learn multiple positions to cover vacancies. The team manages daily operations to uphold a Preferred Choice status.

Location: Nashville, AR
Shift: All shifts, schedule varies
Compensation: $23.09

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Operate around heavy and moving equipment
• Stand and walk for extended periods
• Accurately maintain production records
• Dump hoppers in the production area
• Cross-train on other plant tasks
• Maintain good attendance
• Monitor, test, and inspect product quality
• Monitor End-Tape
• Perform all tasks safely
• Follow Lockout/Tagout procedures
• Wear required PPE
• Lift up to 75 lbs
• Work independently and follow all procedures
• Be a team player
• Perform additional tasks as assigned

Working Conditions:

• Flexible schedule with days, nights, weekends
• Work in a manufacturing environment with limited HVAC, concrete floors, noise, dust, chemicals, and temperature fluctuations
• Work hours vary based on business needs, may include long hours, weekends, and holidays
