Job summary

Round-Peg Solutions (RPS) Limited is seeking an Operations Manager to lead manufacturing operations in an established aerospace environment. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Operations Management, or a related technical discipline; equivalent hands-on manufacturing leadership experience may also be considered.
• 5 to 7 years of progressive manufacturing experience, including at least 2 to 3 years directly supervising or managing production personnel.
• Aerospace manufacturing experience, including knowledge of AS9100, machine shop operations, CNC machining, and complex production environments.
• Proven experience improving manufacturing processes through Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S, industrial engineering, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with experience managing production KPIs, labor planning, ERP/MRP systems, root cause analysis, and employee development.

Responsibilities

• Leading manufacturing operations across multiple departments, including machining and special processes, ensuring effective use of employees, equipment, and facilities
• Analyzing existing assembly and production processes to improve workflow, cycle times, production yield, and overall operational efficiency
• Establishing standardized processes, procedures, and performance measures for complex and legacy production requirements within a high-mix environment
• Driving improvements in on-time delivery and reducing past-due orders through effective production planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and team accountability
• Developing and coaching production teams while working with manufacturing engineering and senior leadership on Lean initiatives, corrective actions, productivity projects, and operational performance
