Responsibilities include hiring and developing staff, coordinating with manufacturing engineering to boost productivity, managing KPI performance, and maintaining safety and housekeeping standards.

• Execute to production plan and support other work centers for business success.
• Interview, hire, train, evaluate employees; coach and grow teams.
• Support budgeting and KPI monitoring for upper management.
• Collaborate with manufacturing engineering to improve routing and processes.
• Monitor safety and cleanliness of interior and exterior areas.
• Develop and execute preventive/predictive maintenance schedules.

An established and leading Aerospace Component Manufacturing Firm are looking for an Production Operations Manager.

The Production Operations Manager is reponsible for activities across their Production and Repair Station departments. You will manage and have primary responsibility for the safe and efficient operation of the departments or sections assigned. Creates a team environment through effective communication throughout the company. Manages/Grows employees to their fullest potential. Coordinates area activities to ensure scheduled compliance and monthly financial objectives.

Responsibilities

• Manage, organize and assign work to ensure effective use of manpower and facilities.
• Manage required quality levels and adhere to AS9100 manufacturing standard.
• Identify and correct conditions detrimental to safety or health that might adversely affect employees, the facilities, equipment or productivity levels.
• Execute to production plan and support other work centers in pursuit of overall business success.
• Interview, hire, train and evaluate manufacturing employees; discipline; ensure adherence to company policies and regulations.Coach and grow employees to achieve maximum effectiveness of all efforts.
• Support upper management in budgeting and performance KPI’s.
• Work with manufacturing engineering and other departments, to improve productivity including routing methods and processes.
• Monitoring the safety and cleanliness of interior and exterior areas, such as offices, conference rooms, parking lots and outdoor recreation spaces.
• Maintain, develop, and execute PPM schedules.

Salary: 130-165k base (can go higher for the right person) + Bonus
