Job summary

Prudential Overall Supply is seeking a hands-on Production Manager to lead daily production operations and drive productivity across the plant. The role requires coordinating a 50+ person team, aligning with the Plant Manager on staffing, training, and continuous improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing or industrial settings, strong leadership and communication skills, and a track record of delivering results in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• 2+ years of supervisory or management experience in a manufacturing, production, warehouse, distribution, industrial laundry, or related environment.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Results-oriented with a hands-on leadership style.
• Comfortable working throughout the production floor and occasionally performing physical job functions.
• Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.
• Military leadership and operations experience is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily production operations to ensure safety, quality, efficiency, and customer service objectives are achieved.
• Direct and support a team of 50+ production, maintenance, and support employees.
• Plan, organize, and coordinate workflow across multiple departments to meet production schedules and customer requirements.
• Monitor staffing levels, labor utilization, and departmental performance to maximize productivity.
• Establish clear communication and accountability throughout the production team.
• Partner with the Plant Manager to recruit, train, develop, and retain employees.
• Conduct employee coaching, performance evaluations, and corrective action as needed.
• Monitor production metrics, quality standards, attendance, safety practices, and operational performance.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions that enhance efficiency and quality.
• Promote a positive, team-oriented culture focused on safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Support plant operations as needed and perform additional responsibilities assigned by management.
