Job summary

RedSail Technologies is seeking a highly motivated Production Assistant to support the Production Manager and help coordinate daily manufacturing operations. This role emphasizes attention to detail and the ability to quickly learn production software.

You will release and prioritize production jobs, coordinate workflow across design, scheduling, production, shipping, and dispatch, and monitor priorities while communicating schedule changes.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Extremely computer literate with the ability to learn production software quickly.
• Experience using ERP, scheduling, production planning, or manufacturing software is preferred.
• Assist the Production Manager with releasing and prioritizing production jobs according to daily schedules.
• Coordinate workflow between design, scheduling, production, shipping, and dispatch.
• Monitor production priorities and communicate schedule changes effectively.
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills with the ability to anticipate production needs before issues arise.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Self-starter who requires minimal supervision and demonstrates initiative.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to work effectively under deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
