Job summary

Delta Dental Ins. is seeking an Associate Operations Analyst in Rancho Cordova, CA to oversee production and pre‑production batch processing to meet SLAs. You will monitor dashboards, handle alerts, and ensure system efficiency while testing processes to identify bugs and drive fixes.

This role requires accuracy, coordination of multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, and strong Excel/office suite skills to prepare reports and visuals for leadership.

Qualifications

• 0+ years of experience with High School education.
• Detail oriented with strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Thorough knowledge of system/software principles, procedures and methodologies.
• Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks in fast paced, high pressure environments.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills to resolve difficult problems.
• Partner with the business to identify, document and prioritize business requirements.
• Ability to prepare reports, correspondence and presentations using data visualization techniques.
• Experience with SDLC methodologies (waterfall, iterative, agile).
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Reviews dashboard and alerts for status of environmental, applications, online and batch executions.
• Reports any status other than green immediately.
• Processes production batch requests and monitors daily turnover and batch processing.
• Monitors emails for alerts on abends, thresholds, server alerts and scheduling questions.
• Compares payment processing, billing, and multiple scheduling apps for accuracy.
• Coordinates triage calls with vendors, developers, infrastructure and teams.
• Monitors internal tracking site for pre‑production requests and updates progress.
